3rd Annual West Coast Tour

5:00pm-7:30pm WEDNESDAY JUNE 18, 2014

Dedicated contributors to the global project of women in art,  Few and Far women pursue their individual expressions, and uniquely benefit from the experience of collaboration.

Few and Far welcomes every opportunity to enliven another community, to reinvent another street corner, to partner with organizations in the common aim of social betterment, and we have chosen Seattle to be the place where we celebrate 3 years of a shared commitment to creativity, education and social justice.

To celebrate our 3rd annual West Coast Tour, fewandfarwomen.com are joining forces

with fellow Seattle graffiti muralists

Jonathan Wakuda Fischer and John Osgood

with the support of artist friendly community establishments:

The Vera Project All ages venue, Skate Like A Girl

skateboarding and empowerment, and respected NW companies

MudBay, Costco, Diamond Parking, Chazzzam, ArtPrimo, Vuu’s Beauty School, Motion Board Shop, and Omen Longboards with new Seattle fashion company Bombsheller to create an engaging live mural event during the new Uptown Artwalk, welcoming and inspiring the public to support aspiring artists holding up their piece of the sky!

The event is free with hands-on art activities for youth by

Pets are welcome and everyone interested in observing

a collaborative work of art created live!

By engaging communities in our empowering narrative, we seek to foster imagination to recognize and channel their creative impulses.

“Few and Far naturally magnetizes attention, and with each project, our collaborative process evolves.”

Erin Ashford focuses her lens primarily on subcultures for long-term documentary projects.  Her commissions keep her busy,

but she is based in Seattle.

Wakuda makes modern graffiti inspired art in the style of traditional Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints.

John Osgood’s artwork has a street style feel with an urban design and is inspired by street art, as well as Picasso’s cubist period, Basquiat and Pollock.  (2014)
